Course will be in: Mandarin
Venue: Auditorium, Level 4, International Medical University, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur,
The delicate and unique body of infant and children means that herbs are not recommended as the first choice in paediatric prevention and care. As a form of external treatment in Chinese Medicine, paediatric tuina is widely used in treating common childhood disease such as common cold, fever, cough, asthma, diarrhoea, constipation, and etc. Its technique is different from adult tuina. It is proven effective and its advantage is its easy application.
However, paediatric Tuina is not widely used clinically in Malaysia. Organised by the International Medical University (IMU), this workshop features Professor Liao Pin Dong, a renown paediatric tuina practitioner from China to share his experience in using paediatric tuina to treat constipation and asthma.
- To increase awareness of paediatric tuina as a viable option in treating common children diseases
