Progression of liver disease depend on early identication and treatment of the underlying aetiologies. Management goals are to address the preventable and treatable factors such as obesity and malnutrition, both of which are prevalent conditions of liver diseases, from N/MAFLD to cirrhosis.

IMU Nutrition & Dietetics Centre for Transformative Nutrition and Health present a virtual workshop for dietetic practitioners and students by a multidisciplinary panel of experts providing updated practical guidance in the management of liver disease.


1. Topics discussed include

  • The workup and diagnosis of N/MAFLD and liver cirrhosis
  • The role of nutrition in N/MAFLD and liver cirrhosis
  • Management in the local setting
  • Case studies using virtual interactive tools
