Highly specialised workshop focussed on Maitland’s assessment and treatment approach based on key principles in application. The mastery of this skill will equip the clinical physiotherapist with the skill of obtaining accurate subjective and objective assessment to enable the effective hypotheticodeductive process to take place. The accuracy of making the diagnosis will allow physiotherapists to plan and implement highly structured and effective treatment strategy with almost 90% effectiveness in treatment re-evaluation.

Objectives

• To enhance the physiotherapists’ assessment skills in musculoskeletal areas based on Maitland’s principles.
• To cultivate targeted communication skills in subjective assessment.
• To promote clinical reasoning process during the assessment and treatment intervention.
