Genetic association studies can be defined as investigations that assess the relationships between genetic variants and either aspects of a disease or the disease itself. Genetic association studies play an important role in identifying genetic determinants of complex human diseases. An approach by systematic review and meta-analysis might be beneficial in determining the connection of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and diseases, complications, or treatment results.

This one-and-a-half-day workshop will comprise of a half day workshop which is fully online where the speakers will provide the introduction to systematic reviews and meta-analysis, study search, risk of bias assessment and meta-analysis. The second day workshop will be face to face using Review Manager Web and Covidence software, demonstration, and hands-on practice. This workshop will be valuable for the undergraduate and post-graduate medical students, early career researchers, graduate medical doctors, allied health science professionals, post-graduate students to expand a new research area.

Objectives
