The workshop aims to provide:

• Foundation on pipetting, repeatability, and reproducibility in laboratory techniques.
• Hands-on experience in precise pipetting and calibration techniques.

Participants will acquire a comprehensive understanding of essential skills in pipetting techniques, precision, error prevention, hands-on training, and reproducibility. It emphasizes the importance of precise sample handling in scientific research and provides insights to prevent inaccuracies and increase productivity.

Objectives

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able:

• To understand the basic of pipetting technique.
• To understand the repeatability and reproducibility in pipetting.
• To perform precise pipetting techniques (hands-on).
• To calibrate and maintain pipettes (hands-on).
• To identify common pipetting challenges and implement trouble shooting strategies.

Cancellation Policy

1. Any cancellation of registration must be made in writing to the HANDS-ON WORKSHOP ON MASTERING PIPETTING TECHNIQUE AND CALIBRATION.
2. There will be a 50% refund of registration fee for cancellation made before 28 April 2024.
3. There will be a 30% refund of registration fee for cancellation made before 14 May 2024.
4. There will be no refund of registration fee for cancellations made after 14 May 2024.
5. The organiser reserves the right to cancel or change the topic or trainer of the workshop, if for whatever reasons beyond its control, the workshop cannot be held as scheduled or the topics need to be altered.
