Cardiac Life Support (CLS) was developed in accordance with Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia’s latest guideline on Cardiac Life Support. This course is aimed to assist participants in enhancing skills and acquire knowledge on the most up-to-date life-saving techniques.

This course is designed specifically for personnel in pre-hospital care, emergency departments, intensive care and critical units who manages cardiac arrest or other non-traumatic emergencies. This interactive session will provide insight to participants through didactic theory and direct participation in simulation. Participants will be taken through airway management stations, recognition of dysrhythmias and familiarisation to emergency drugs.

Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded Certificate of Competency with 2 years validity.

This event will take place at IMU Clinical Campus Seremban, Jalan Rasah, 70300 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

Learning Outcomes

• Recognise life threatening emergency in real life situations.
• Be an efficient team leader and team member during resuscitation.
• Perform resuscitation procedure effectively for non-traumatic emergencies.

Cancellation Policy

1. Any cancellation of registration must be made in writing to the Secretariat of Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
2. There will be a full refund of registration fee for cancellation made by 20 May 2024.
3. There will be a 50% refund of registration fee for cancellation made before 20 June 2024.
4. There will be a 30% refund of registration fee for cancellation made before 6 July 2024.
5. There will be no refund of registration fee for cancellations made after 6 July 2024.
6. The organiser reserves the right to cancel or change the topic or trainer of the workshop, if for whatever reasons beyond its control, the workshop cannot be held as scheduled or the topics need to be altered.
