Course Outline Review

This two-day programme is focused on the delivery of comprehensive fixed prosthodontic treatment in clinical practice with a strong emphasis on the application of evidence-based treatment planning, execution, and restoration. There will be ample sharing of clinical cases and collective experiences in the delivery and management of care.

This programme is tailored towards providing hands-on training which leads to enhanced clinical outcomes for your patients, emphasis will be placed on strengthening understanding of treatment plan paradigm and clinical skills required for the delivery of these highly technical procedures. Participants will be provided with tailored, individual feedback to enhance knowledge and practical skills as well as case-based discussions to ensure a deeper understanding of fixed prosthodontics.

This comprehensive programme will include conservative treatment options such as resin bonded bridges, veneers, onlays to standard crowns and bridges pending on requirements of clinical situations; focuses on evidence- based knowledge, contemporary techniques giving emphasis on adhesive dentistry and minimally invasive techniques.

Learning Objectives

  • To comprehend principles of tooth preparation in fixed prosthodontics to maximise clinical success, from resin bonded bridges, veneers to crowns and bridges.
  • To execute tooth preparation and provisionalisation in fixed prosthodontics.
  • To perform secondary impression techniques to obtain optimum outcome for well-fitting indirect restorations.
  • To understand shade selection, ceramic choices and communication with laboratory.
  • To comprehend and perform cementation techniques including adhesive techniques for all- ceramic restorations.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Any cancellation of registration must be made in writing to the Secretariat of A to Z of Fixed Prosthodontics.
  2. There will be a 50% refund of the registration fee for cancellation made before 24 January 2024.
  3. There will be a 30% refund of the registration fee for cancellation made before 10 February 2024.
  4. There will be no refund of the registration fee for cancellations made after 10 February 2024.
  5. The organiser reserves the right to cancel or change the topic or trainer of the workshop, if for whatever reasons beyond its control, the workshop cannot be held as scheduled or the topics need to be altered.
