This two-day workshop focuses on helping participants develop patient-centered interactions and communication skills that will aid them in their practice and in preparing for the MFDS Part Two Examination.

The workshop will feature lectures and discussions covering various essential topics such as history-taking, explaining special tests, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options, treatment planning, consent-taking, breaking bad news, and handling complaints. Additionally, participants will engage in practical activities including Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) stations and a mock OSCE circuit. These exercises will present a diverse range of clinical scenarios, followed by detailed discussions and individual feedback sessions.

To maximise the benefits of the workshop, participants should already possess basic knowledge in dentistry relevant to the MFDS Part 2 exam syllabus, equivalent to that of a practicing dentist.
