Overview

This half-day workshop aims to enhance evidence-based medicine critical appraisal skills of family medicine postgraduate trainees. Participants will be provided with pre-workshop materials derived from key journals on these areas: diagnosis, prognosis, therapy (randomized controlled trial), and therapy (systematic review). During the workshop, participants will engage with an experienced facilitator in a doctor-to-doctor discussion on evidence-based issues.

OBJECTIVE

To facilitate participants’ use of resources in their critical appraisal of information and clinical decision-making for the safe management of patients.
