Workshop On Pain Management
This workshop is relevant in view of updating the pain management in accordance with the standards of practice as recommended by Ministry of Health, Malaysia as the ‘5th Vital Sign’. The workshop aims to promote awareness among nurses and other health care providers the importance of pain management in achieving an optimum delivery of care towards their clients.
Objectives
The objectives of the workshop are:
- To update the health care professionals on current assessment and modalities available for pain management
- To enhance formulation of pain management based on individualized care
