This intensive microbiology workshop consists of two parts, virology (Day 1) and bacteriology (Day 2). The virology workshop will focus on safety in microbiology laboratory, SARS CoV-2 testing, Covid vaccine readiness and safety. The bacteriology workshop will offer insights into fundamental clinical microbiology techniques, causative microbial identication methods, and CLSI guidelines (including antibiotic sensitivity and resistance).

Expert speakers will share their knowledge via interactive lectures and case studies. They aim to provide valuable information to improve practice and benefit participants from various levels of expertise, from junior scientists to veteran microbiologists.

The event is part of an annual lecture series, during which we strive to cover relevant, up-to-date topics in biomedical sciences, and provide quality professional training for participants.
